Major Projects
Here you will find my major projects ranging from in and out of the medical field. On this page, I highlighted some projects that are important to me and have shaped me as a student and community member.

Donation Drive
Senior Year of High School, I had the pleasure of being a Health Care and Medicine Associate for Northland Career Center for Professional Care. One of the projects that I was able to do was partner with the North Kansas City Hospitals Orthopedic floor. To make the patients more comfortable during their stay at the hospital we ran a donation drive for games and other things to do in their pastime at the hospital. We were also able to get a generous money donation for the orthopedic floor.

Northland CAPS
In order to build better group work skills my classmates and I took on a series of obstacle courses to find our structure and characteristics as a team. During this, I was able to learn more about how I can contribute as a team member. Our team building exercise was just one of the many projects that I did for networking and professional development at Northland CAPS.

STAHRS
As a Student Training in Academia and Health, the University of Kansas City- Missouri STAHRs program provided me with many projects in which I was able to work with my peers from different districts with the same interests in healthcare as me. While part of this program, I learned more about my community and my respective career path choice.

HBCU Fair
As the President of my schools Black Student Union, I was tasked with the role of hosting our school districts annual Historical Black College (HBCU) fair. While doing this project, I had to reach out to my fellow Black Student Union members to help decorate and advertise the event. At the end, we had a great turn out and engaging activity's for the audience.
